KYOCERA Document Solutions Inc. is pleased to announce that its new A4 colour multi-functional products (MFP’s), the TASKalfa 406ci (40ppm) and TASKalfa 356ci (35ppm). Both have won the Good Design Award 2015 hosted by the Japan Institute for Design Promotion (JDP), a public interest incorporated foundation.

Offering the same benefits normally only available on more expensive A3 machines, the new Kyocera A4 range has been developed to become the ”first A4 MFP series with the power of A3”.

”Ideal for small to large workgroups who use a colour A3 MFP […] yet print on A4 most of the time”.

Available now,  the new Kyocera printers have“optimised the new A4 MFP design to give high performance in environments where document output and finishing are key”, noting that “until now, this would have meant a big investment in an A3 device”.  Kyocera state that here is “no compromise on security or mobile printing capability which, coupled with reduced downtime, means businesses will quickly start to see saving from investing in Kyocera devices”

The MFP’s have the same capability as KYOCERA’s A3 TASKalfa MFP series with HyPAS™*, a KYOCERA-developed software platform which contributes to the promotion of information sharing and the streamlining of document workflows. For this reason, they broaden the range of choices for customers who mainly use A4-size sheets for their document work.

The commanding yet stylish and modern design delivers an overall air of high quality and high reliability, and meets the requirements of a floor installation type product shared by many users. The colour tone is a combination of dark and deep colours. The machine has a simple shape while emphasising vertical/horizontal lines.
